Broad Hatchet Prototype 1

This right-hand, single-bevel broad hatchet is forged from 4150 alloy steel. The back is ground flat with a slight camber for ease of hewing. Overall weight is 2lb. 5oz. and blade length is approximately 5". The octagonal handle is hand crafted of select hickory and is 13" long. Included is a custom leather sheath. This axe is a one-off prototype, and likely will not be part of our regular tool line.
