Broad Hatchet Prototype 4 C

This right-hand, single-bevel broad hatchet is forged from 4150 alloy steel. The back is ground flat with a slight camber for ease of hewing. Overall weight is 2lb. 12oz. and blade length is approximately 6-1/4". The octagonal handle is hand crafted of select hickory and is 13" long. Included is a custom leather sheath. This axe is a one-off prototype of a patten that may eventually be part of our regular tool line.
