Captain Hook

This is our flagship spoon hook, the product of Paul's effort to make a spoon knife that is better in every way. The blade is forged from American made 52100 steel for superior performance. The blade has a hollow back like our standard spoon knives for ease of sharpening. The curve of the blade is similar to, but slightly larger than our compound sweep hook, and the tip is longer, crossing the center line of the handle. This gives more options for carving in deeper forms. A brass bolster and micarta liner set off the premium wood handle.
