Pickaroon

The pickaroon is in a family of log handling tools used to pull, cary, drag, roll and otherwise maneuver logs, firewood and other rough timber. This pickaroon has a curved pick that is hung on a 19" hand carved hickory handle. The head is forged from a solid piece of 4150 medium carbon, low alloy steel that is 8"-9" long from poll to pick. Overall weight is approximately 2-3/4 pounds.
