Small Finishing Adze

Current Batch has natural hickory handles. Our smallest shallow sweep adze is forged from solid 5160 alloy steel, and built on our spoon adze body. It has a hand crafted hickory handle, stained and finished with a penetrating oil/varnish mix. Handles are approximately 9" long. The shallow sweep blade has a slight curve for ease of use and sharpening. This adze is designed superior control for finishing both the inside and outside of bowls, and carving shallow forms like trays and chair seats. Blades are approximately 1-7/8” to 2" across. Overall weight is approximately 21 oz. No sheath is available for this adze.
